Accept online payments

Connect CHIP in Settings → Payments and your customers can pay an invoice online by FPX, card, e-wallet or DuitNow QR. Money settles directly into your own CHIP account, and the payment records itself against the invoice so you are not chasing receipts.

Create a CHIP account
Sign up at chip-in.asia and complete their verification. This is where your money settles.
Open CHIP Collect → Developers
Your API key and Brand ID both live here.
Copy the API key
Treat it like a password — anyone with it can create payments on your account.
Copy the Brand ID
A long id in the form 1a2b3c4d-5e6f-7a8b-9c0d-1e2f3a4b5c6d.
Connect CHIP in BuildTrack
Open Settings → Payments, paste the API key and Brand ID, then press Connect CHIP. A green tick next to CHIP means you are live and every invoice you send can carry a payment link.
How customers pay invoices online
Send the invoice as usual and the customer gets a link to a payment page with your company name and logo on it. They choose how to pay, and once it goes through the invoice is marked paid and the outstanding balance updates on its own. Payments taken by bank transfer or cash still need recording by hand — see Get paid and record payments.
Change or remove CHIP payment keys
Press Edit on the CHIP section to replace your API key and Brand ID — useful if you rotate keys or move from test to live. Disconnect stops new online payments; invoices you have already issued and payments already taken are unaffected.
