Set up your price list

Open Catalog and press Add item. Title and unit are required; the rest is worth filling in properly, because it is what your customer ends up reading.

   Item title

   What the line will say on the quotation, for example “Supply and lay 300×300 floor tiles”.

   Item code

   Your own reference, such as PLB-ROUGH-01. Codes must be unique, and they are how imports match existing catalog items.

   Category

   Group catalog items by trade — Plumbing, Electrical, Tiling — so they are easy to find later.

   Unit and unit price

   How you sell it (nos, m, m², day, set) and the price in MYR.

   Tax

   The SST percentage for this catalog item, so quotation totals roll up correctly.

   Description and photo

   Scope, specs and inclusions — the detail that stops arguments later. A photo helps customers picture the finish.

On a quotation or invoice line, search the catalog and pick your item. Its title, unit, price, description and tax drop straight onto the line, and you can still adjust the quantity or override the price for that one job. See Create and send a quotation.

   Import from a spreadsheet

   Press Import, download the template, fill in your rows and upload a CSV or XLSX. Required columns are item_title, unit and unit_price. Up to 500 catalog rows per upload.

   Bulk edit in a grid

   Press Bulk edit for a spreadsheet-style view where you can retype catalog prices down a column, duplicate rows and save the lot in one go.

Use Deactivate from the catalog row menu. The catalog item stops showing up when someone searches the catalog on a quotation, but every document that already uses it is untouched. Reactivate brings the catalog item back.
