Schedule crew and use dispatch

Last updated: 13 July 2026

Getting the right people to the right site is a daily job on its own. BuildTrack splits it into two tools: the Calendar for planning who works which job, and Dispatch for watching the day unfold — who’s en route, who’s on site, and which jobs still need someone.

Plan the day on the Calendar

Open Calendar to assign crew to jobs and see the day or week ahead.

  1. Open the day

See every job scheduled, and the crew already on each one.

  2. Assign crew to a job

Add the supervisor and crew members who’ll work it. A job can have a whole team.

  3. Clear the Unassigned list

Work with no crew is flagged as unassigned so nothing goes out the door without a team.

Crew assigned here see the job on their phone under Dashboard and My Dispatch — see Track jobs from site.

Watch the day on Dispatch

Dispatch is a live status board for the office. It shows each crew’s status and today’s visits — including who is en route and who is on site — and warns you when jobs today still have no crew. It’s how you catch a gap at 8am instead of getting a call at 10.

The field view: My Dispatch

Supervisors and crew use My Dispatch on their phones to see only their own assignments for the day. Less clutter, and a straight line from “what am I doing today” to the job itself.
